Jodi Kurland is a health care professional by day and an avid writer, crafter, and photographer in her spare time. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three dog and hamster. Her hamster, Ami, is the inspiration behind her story of a racing hamster. Ami is a two-time hamster racing champion (no joke!) and from that absurd concept, a story was born.
